Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Architectural Inspector to join our team in Kuwait. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive inspections of port, terminal, and infrastructure facilities to ensure compliance with architectural standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety across all inspection activities.

  • Conduct thorough architectural inspections of port facilities, terminals, and infrastructure projects to verify compliance with approved designs and specifications
  • Analyze structural integrity and architectural components, documenting findings in detailed inspection reports
  • Assess construction quality and adherence to building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
  • Identify deficiencies, non-conformances, and areas requiring corrective action, and communicate findings to project stakeholders
  • Perform site measurements and photographic documentation to support inspection records and regulatory compliance
  • Review architectural drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to establish inspection criteria
  • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and regulatory authorities to resolve inspection-related issues
  • Maintain organized records of all inspections, test results, and compliance documentation
  • Ensure all inspection activities comply with local and international safety protocols and regulations
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and recommendations based on inspection findings and analysis

Qualifications

  • Proven experience conducting architectural inspections in port, terminal, or infrastructure environments
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, architectural standards, and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Proficiency in analyzing structural components and assessing architectural integrity
  • Experience with CAD software and digital inspection documentation systems
  • Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications
  • Proficiency in using measurement tools and inspection equipment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with port and terminal operations (preferred)
  • Architectural inspection certification or equivalent professional credential (preferred)
  • Safety certifications relevant to construction and infrastructure inspection (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Middle East construction standards and regulations (preferred)
