Job Description
As an Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections and tests to identify any defects or issues with our equipment and systems. Your expertise in NDT techniques will be vital in maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. - Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) inspections as per established procedures and standards.
- Identify and report any defects, anomalies, or non-conformities found during inspections.
- Make informed decisions based on inspection results and recommend appropriate actions.
- Work collaboratively with other inspectors, engineers, and technicians to ensure a comprehensive inspection process.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of inspection activities and findings.
- Stay updated with the latest NDT techniques, technologies, and industry best practices.
- Provide training and guidance to less experienced inspectors or team members.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Certified as a NDT Inspector Level 2 or equivalent, with relevant industry certifications.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in NDT inspections, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of NDT techniques, including ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, and liquid penetrant testing.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, procedures, and specifications.
- Excellent decision-making skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
- Proficiency in using inspection equipment and software tools.
- Willingness to travel as required for inspection assignments.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to obtain any necessary safety certifications.
