Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspection of ZnSe parts at different process stages.
• Check for defects such as scratches, digs, chips, contamination, and surface irregularities
• Verify critical parameters such as thickness, flatness, and bevel condition.
• Ensure parts meet process and customer specifications before moving to the next operation.
• Segregate and properly identify non-conforming parts
• Record inspection results and maintain accurate documentation
• Coordinate with production and engineering teams for quality issues and disposition
• Follow inspection standards, procedures, and work instructions

Education & Experience

• At least Senior High School or Technical/Vocational graduate
• Experience in optics, semiconductor, or quality inspection processes is an advantage.
• Familiarity with ZnSe material handling and inspection requirements is preferred.

Skills

• Strong visual inspection skills and attention to detail
• Ability to use basic measuring tools (e.g., micrometer, caliper, thickness gauge).
• Knowledge of optical defects and quality standards
• Good documentation and reporting skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Working Conditions

• Work is performed in a production/inspection area handling delicate optical parts.
• Requires prolonged standing and focus during inspection activities
• Must follow strict cleanliness and handling procedures to avoid contamination and damage.
• 6-day work week, with possible Sunday overtime when shipment requirements are critical
