The AMRT is the Advanced Manufacturing & Repair Engineering organization that is focused on building next generation technology and processes to support the repair and build of GE Vernova Gas Power products. The AMRT Process Development Dimensional Inspection Engineer will develop and industrialize and support advanced inspection processes & systems for GE Vernova Power businesses globally. She/he will develop industrial inspection systems, implement them in GE Vernova facilities worldwide, and provide engineering and technical support for our global network of service centers.
What yo u’ll do
• Generate, maintain, and verify CMM programs utilizing PC-DMIS or other software.
• Manipulate Models using NX 1965 as needed to support CMM programming needs.
• Provide CMM related support and provide operator training for new processes or process improvements supporting .
• Generate and support workstation instructions (methods) for CMM related issues.
• Initiate and lead process improvement projects to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost related to CMM processes.
• Provide effective communication to appropriate team members when needed.
• Work effectively as an individual and in a team-based environment in a matrixed organization.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment while embracing and driving positive change inside and outside the organization when appropriate.
What yo u’ll bring (Basic Qualificatio ns)
• Bachelor’s Degree, Associate’s Degree with 3 years of experience in dimensional inspection [OR] High School Degree w/6 years of experience in dimensional inspection.
• 3+ years experience off-line PC-DMIS Pro gramming

• Demo nstrated prof iciency interpreting drawing req uirements with a stro ng GD&T kno wledge (ASME Y145M – 2009)
• Demo nstrated prof iciency pro gramming and running Coo rdinate Measuring Machines
• Demo nstrated ability to wo rk with so lid mo dels (preferably NX 1965/2206)
• Bachelo r’s degree in E ngineering, Mathematics, or Co mputer Science
• Structure Light Scanning experience – prefer GOM ATOS Pro fessio nal So ftware
• VBA, Pytho n, or similar pro gramming experience
• Stro ng pro blem so lving and o rganization skills, with abo ve average shop math skills in geo metry and trigo no metry
• Ability to multi-task and pro ductively manage multiple pro jects co ncurrently
• E xperience with H DGT or Aero space co mpo nents

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $89,300.00 and $148,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
