& Summary: A career within Corporate & International Tax

Responsibilities:

●The tasks, roles and responsibilities pertaining to the job role of a Senior Analyst will include the following:

● Accountability in terms of tracking pursuits, compiling and gathering information from public sources and preparing fact-sheets for pursuits.

● Ensuring that proper documentation of records are completed both in manual and soft copies.
● Drafting engagement letters and adjournment letters.

● Following up with tax inspector, staff for certificates, refunds, etc.

● Assisting in technical research and preparation of submissions / notes / PPTs.

● Interacting/building a relationship with tax authorities.

● Attending and interacting in technical L&E sessions.

● Responsible for raising invoices, tracking outstanding debtors, monthly WIP write-off, MIS reporting, etc. for the teams.

● Ability to connect with peers in other SBU / LOS.

● Assisting in preparation of paper books for tax hearings, filing documents / submission with tax office.

Mandatory skill sets:

● Basic knowledge of Direct Tax, Corporate Tax (Income Tax & DTAA), Corporate Law, International Tax, FEMA and Transfer Pricing would be an added advantage

Preferred skill sets:

- Demonstrating a proactive and robust thought process - Meticulous and committed attitude

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Good interpersonal skills - Passion for client servicing - Excellent skillset working on MS office (Advanced Excel, PowerPoint) - Number crunching ability
