In capital markets accounting advisory services at PwC, you will focus on providing strategic guidance on a broad range of technical accounting, financial reporting, transaction structures and capital markets topics. You will advise clients on complex accounting advisory and financial reporting issues around deals (both public and private) and other transformational business events that may impact an organisation’s value.

The Firm's Assurance Services provides assurance on the financial performance and operations of a client’s business, helps businesses improve external financial reporting and adapt to new regulatory requirements as per state laws/international standards. The Assurance group can also help organizations report externally on non-financial information, strengthen its corporate governance procedures, and achieve social and economic goals related to corporate sustainability. Financial audits provide an independent opinion on a company's financial report and are a critical element in the capital markets system.

Capital Market and Accounting Advisory Services is a dedicated global team of professionals that provides high-value advisory services under IFRS, Indian GAAP and Ind AS along with capital markets services.
Responsibilities:
Roles & Responsibilities (essential functions and responsibilities of the job):
ECL Pipeline Support
Writing, testing, and debugging code (Python/Excel/SQL) for ECL pipelines
Assisting with automation and data processing
Statistical & Financial Model Validation
Supporting implementation of PD, LGD, EAD models
Ensuring correctness of regressions, assumptions, and model frameworks
Audit & Clearance Support
Preparing documentation and validation checks
Assisting in ECL audit readiness and regulatory submissions
Policy Drafting & Documentation
Supporting drafting and refinement of ECL policies for banks
Accounting & IFRS Integration Support
Assisting in reconciling modelling outputs with accounting principles
Analytics / AI Enablement
Supporting implementation of machine learning models and AI-driven automation in ECL pipelines
Mandatory skill sets:
Strong understanding of:
Statistics & regressions
Credit risk modelling concepts (PD, LGD, EAD, credit scoring)
IFRS 9 / ECL framework basics
Technical skills:
Python (pandas,numpy, basic ML libraries preferred)
Advanced Excel (VBA optional)
SQL / data handling

Exposure to banking / NBFC datasets
