Job Description

Clean Harbors is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Training Coordinator to join our dynamic Training and Development team for our Temporary/Seasonal position. This role plays a critical part in supporting the execution of training programs by providing exceptional administrative, organizational, and coordination support. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong attention to detail, manages competing priorities effectively, and brings a proactive, solutions-focused mindset to their work.

  • Provide in-person and remote technical support to employees using the Learning Management System (LMS), including login assistance, course access, and troubleshooting system issues.
  • Perform comprehensive training compliance audits to verify completion of required certifications, orientations, and regulatory training prior to mobilization or job assignment.
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date training records, ensuring documentation is properly entered, filed, and aligned with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor employee training progress and proactively follow up on outstanding requirements to ensure ongoing compliance with internal policies and industry standards.
  • Serve as a point of contact for training-related inquiries, delivering timely, professional, and customer-focused support.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of adult learning/training experience preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong working knowledge of Excel.
  • Advanced computer proficiency, including the ability to troubleshoot and support users on desktop and mobile devices.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
