What will you be doing?

You will work with an unparalleled range of datasets including scan, shopper panel and customer data, all integrated within the Coles Synergy platform. Leveraging industry‑leading technology, you will help shape how data and insights are applied to drive growth across the FMCG landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Work at the forefront of FMCG insights, leveraging an industry‑leading ecosystem of scan, shopper panel and customer datasets
  • Deliver powerful, commercially focused analysis that turns complex data into clear, actionable direction for stakeholders
  • Take ownership of end-to-end briefs, thriving in ambiguity while shaping priorities and driving outcomes
  • Produce compelling weekly performance reporting, blending backward and forward-looking insights to influence planning and forecasting
  • Act as a trusted advisor by proactively surfacing risks, identifying emerging trends and unlocking opportunities for growth
  • Build strong, influential relationships with internal and external stakeholders, guiding conversations and shaping decisions
  • Present insights with confidence and clarity, creating narratives that move stakeholders to action
  • Drive client growth by spotting opportunities to expand service offerings and deepen strategic partnerships

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of insights experience within a market research agency, manufacturer, or retailer (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of the retail and FMCG landscape, with the ability to analyse data and answer critical business questions
  • Proven capability working across multiple datasets including scan, shopper and customer data, applying them effectively to support business objectives
  • Naturally curious, with a desire to explore data, ask the right questions, and uncover meaningful insights
  • Entrepreneurially minded with a growth mindset, confident engaging and collaborating with stakeholders
  • Strong communicator who builds relationships, manages expectations, and influences decision making
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and manage conflicting priorities, balancing workload and stakeholder needs to deliver results
