Title: Insider Risk Senior Manager/Director

About the role:
The Insider Risk Senior Manager/Director is responsible for driving a hybrid role that spans business development, sales support, thought leadership, and program strategy. This high‑visibility role is ideal for an experienced Insider Risk leader who has previously directed Insider Risk programs within Federal Government agencies or large commercial enterprises.

The position plays a critical role in shaping Insider Risk strategy, enabling customer success, supporting sales engagements through subject‑matter expertise, and advancing the industry through thought leadership and community engagement.

Location:
This is an office-based role in Herndon, VA (remote with on‑site work as required).

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales Support

• Serves as a senior Insider Risk SME for pre‑sales engagements, customer briefings, and industry discussions.
• Partners with Sales and Account Teams to qualify opportunities, shape solutions, and communicate the value of modern Insider Risk capabilities.
• Develops and delivers high‑impact presentations, demos, and technical briefings aligned to customer missions and organizational needs.
• Builds strong relationships with Federal and commercial prospects to accelerate pipeline growth and customer adoption.

Thought Leadership & Industry Advocacy

• Represents the organization at conferences, panels, webinars, and executive briefings to advance Insider Risk concepts and best practices.
• Publishes thought leadership content including blogs, whitepapers, frameworks, and guidance documents.
• Engages with government and industry working groups focused on Insider Risk, security culture, and risk mitigation strategies.

Program Strategy & Advisory

• Provides expert advisory support to customers seeking to build, modernize, or mature Insider Risk programs.
• Translates operational experience into actionable guidance that aligns people, processes, and technology.
• Advises on policy development, risk governance, cross‑functional coordination, and legal/privacy considerations.
• Supports complex customer engagements, particularly those involving multi‑agency environments or large‑scale enterprise deployments.

Cross‑Functional Leadership

• Collaborates closely with engineering, product, marketing, and field teams to improve customer experience and shape roadmap priorities.
• Serves as a bridge between customer mission requirements and internal product teams.
• Mentors internal teams on Insider Risk concepts, trends, and program models.

Key Knowledge and Skills

• Prior experience leading Insider Risk programs in Federal Government agencies or large commercial enterprises with mature security programs.
• Deep operational understanding of Insider Risk detection, response, governance, and cross‑functional workflows.
• Demonstrated success in customer‑facing roles such as consulting, business development, advisory, or engagement management.
• Exceptional communication skills and executive presence with the ability to clearly articulate complex security concepts.
• Experience producing thought leadership content or speaking at industry events.
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment, manage diverse workloads, and drive outcomes across multiple teams.

Key Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Security, or a related field.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CIPS, ITIL, security or risk management credentials) are highly desirable.
• Minimum of three to five years of experience in a procurement, security, or Insider Risk leadership role within Federal or commercial sectors.

A reasonable estimate of the on-target earnings ("OTE") for this role is between:

$317,500.00-371,200.00 USD

The actual OTE offered may vary within the range based on a candidates' unique experience, locale, and business needs. In addition to the OTE, Everfox offers a generous benefits package including flexible PTO, a 401k match, and contribution to healthcare coverages.
