Overview

The ITM (Inside Territory Manager) is responsible for developing and cultivating 200+ distributor partners with total volume +$80MM across the full PepsiCo portfolio. The position will be responsible for achieving annual key performance indexes, maximizing volume growth opportunities with new and existing distributor customers, and executing initiatives and priorities. The individual will support customers across multiple PepsiCo regions.

Responsibilities

  • Account Management: Maintain active distributor customer communication; generate new PepsiCo business within assigned base and prospecting new leads. Communicate and leverage PepsiCo programming.
  • Negotiation: Establish mutual value when reaching agreement on annual programming, engage the customer in mutual problem solving.
  • Decision Making: Build value of preferred alternatives by relating them to customer needs.
  • Issue resolution follow-up: Handle a wide variety of questions, and customer service needs with seamless coordination and communication. Engage with supply chain while resolving issues.
  • Operations Knowledge: Maintain a working knowledge of Frito-Lay, Quaker Foods, Tropicana, Gatorade, Pepsi, Naked Juice and Izze. Focus on navigating inventory challenges, discontinuances, and new product launches.
  • Administrative: Contract negotiation and management. Deal model evaluation.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $60,600 - $94,450.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

  • Superior time management skills, ability to handle multiple projects, set priorities, and plan
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, superior support of field sales teams, clearly communicating all results and opportunities to leadership
  • Strong Computer Skills
  • Strong sales, influence, and engagement skills
  • Bachelors degree required
  • Demonstrated professionalism and dependability
  • Minimum 2 years previous sales in foodservice or other CPG environment
  • Strong communication/problem solving skills
  • Proficient computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
