Description -

The Inside Print Specialist is responsible for driving sales growth and opportunity development for HP’s Print portfolio within assigned accounts. This role manages a large account load, develops and advances long-term Print & Solutions pipelines, and collaborates with internal teams and channel partners to ensure successful sales execution and customer satisfaction. The Inside Print Specialist is expected to differentiate HP’s offerings, deliver product demonstrations, and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to achieve sales quotas and expand HP’s share of wallet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales quota for Print products and services.
  • Drive opportunities from qualification to close in Print business, ensuring funnel hygiene and accurate pipeline management for Print-specialized opportunities.
  • Create and advance long-term Print & Solutions pipeline from early stage to close.
  • Develop proposals and negotiate/close contracts for Print deals.
  • Land new logos by achieving new logo acquisition targets for Print.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, showcasing HP’s comprehensive offerings and emphasizing outcome-based sales strategies for long-term mutual benefit.
  • Differentiate HP from competitors with HP Managed Print Services & Solutions.
  • Coordinate appropriate HP team support as needed on behalf of the client.
  • Ensure appropriate hand-offs upon deal closure for effective implementation and adoption.
  • Collaborate with IAEs and channel teams to address print potential on mid-sized accounts.
  • Provide expertise on Print/Solution offerings and maintain knowledge of competitors’ value propositions in accounts to strategically position HP’s Print products and services.
  • Independently generate pipeline for HP’s Print/Solutions offering.
  • Manage overall customer experience and support post-sales resources for timely implementation and effective adoption of HP solutions.
  • Initiate VAS plan and solutions presentation materials when needed.

Education & Experience Recommended:

  • Experience: 1–3 years of industry sales experience, preferably in Print or related technology sales.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in inside sales or telesales environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a large account load and drive sales growth.
  • Familiarity with sales planning, pipeline management, and CRM systems.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Ability to self-prospect via cold outreach using all contact tools that HP has access to.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with influencers and decision makers.
  • Skill in navigating complex organizations to find expansion opportunities.
  • Ability to lead meetings with a variety of ITDM & Procurement stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of customer, industry, product, and service knowledge to develop long-term growth strategies.
  • Ability to uncover key business issues and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Ability to manage end-to-end sales process for transactional and contractual opportunities.
  • Ability to maintain good working relationships with channel partners and provide support on mid-sized end user business.
  • Collaboration and communication skills for working with internal teams, channel partners, and customers.
  • Technical proficiency to leverage CRM systems and other tools to enhance productivity.
  • New Technology and AI: demonstrated curiosity and confidence in adopting emerging tools and technologies—especially AI—to enhance sales performance, customer engagement, and productivity. The ability to quickly learn, adapt, and apply digital solutions in daily workflows, and to use AI insights to drive smarter decisions and more personalized customer interactions.

The on-target earnings (OTE) range for this role is $26 to $39 USD per hour with

a 60%/40% (salary/incentive) mix. Pay varies by work location, job-related

knowledge, skills, and experience.
