Develop and establish a strong restaurant customer base to sell products to on a recurring, regular basis. Continue to seek out new customer partnerships to increase sales within the King, Pierce, Whatcom, Skagit, Kitsap, Thurston, and Snohomish County areas.

Position’s Key Responsibilities

  • Call customers on a regular basis to establish a good working relationship, enhance sales and satisfy customers’ need to gain future sales.

  • Maximize market share by maintaining current customer base and gaining new customers by providing excellent sales service.

  • Gather information from clients to comprehend market demand and market conditions and to use this advantage for potential sales.

  • Check accounts receivable statements bi-monthly to monitor any customers’ past due invoices.

  • Discuss with the sales staff the necessity to visit past due accounts or work out a schedule of payments with customers to prevent further indebtedness and allow them to continue to order.

  • Constantly be aware of “critical” items to anticipate shortage of merchandise.

  • Provide excellent customer service.

  • Build strong and positive relationships with each customer to enhance sales and keep the business growing.

  • Resolve customer complaints and/or problems in a timely manner. Consult management if necessary.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Starting at $26.24/hr., Depending on Experience.

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Minimum of a High school diploma or equivalent plus 3-4 years of experience in area of specialization.

  • Proficiency in Thai or Spanish is highly desirable to support effective communication with our diverse customer and vendor base.

  • Knowledge of Asian products preferred. Asian language proficiency is a plus.

  • Restaurant management, Marketing and Sales experience preferred.

  • Excellent customer service.

  • Basic math skills.

  • Flexible schedule.

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
