Job Description

We create possibilities that move life and commerce forward

Welcome to Manhattan. Every day, our supply chain commerce technology connects two billion people to 20 billion consumer choices. In the warehouse, on the road and in the store, we make what was once impossible, possible. If you want to tackle complex problems and redefine markets, you’ve come to the right place.

Inside Sales Support Specialist – Enterprise Mobility

The Inside Sales Support Specialist at Manhattan helps turn customer needs into accurate, actionable quotes—and keeps the Enterprise Mobility sales process moving. You’ll partner with Account Executives and teams across Sales Operations, Solutions Engineering, Purchasing, Finance, distributors, and hardware manufacturers to manage quote questions, configurations, renewals, and quote-to-order activities.

As a primary U.S. contact for quote support, you’ll solve problems, coordinate details, and create a responsive, consistent experience for customers while helping sales teams work more efficiently.

What you'll do

Make it easy for customers to move forward

  • Answer questions about products, accessories, configurations, pricing, availability, and next steps.
  • Coordinate quote updates, substitutions, renewals, replacement devices, subscriptions, and add-on transactions.
  • Follow up on open requests and keep customers and sales partners informed.

Bring accuracy and momentum to every quote

  • Prepare quotes for standard hardware configurations and offerings.
  • Review pricing, product details, approvals, customer information, and required documentation.
  • Support quote-to-order execution and coordinate revisions, exceptions, and handoffs with Sales Operations.

Connect the right people and resources

  • Partner with Account Executives, Solutions Engineers, Purchasing, Finance, distributors, and OEMs to resolve questions and keep work moving.
  • Work with partners such as Zebra, Honeywell, ScanSource, and other Enterprise Mobility providers to confirm pricing, availability, substitutions, and lead times.
  • Triage complex issues to the right internal or external resource and maintain clear communication through resolution.

Help improve how the team works

  • Maintain accurate records in Salesforce, quoting tools, and other designated systems.
  • Manage assigned work queues, document decisions and follow-up actions, and meet service-level expectations.
  • Identify recurring issues and contribute to better processes, templates, training materials, and knowledge-sharing resources.
  • Provide backup support for related inside-sales and sales-operations activities as needed.

Minimum Requirements

  • Two or more years of experience in inside sales, sales support, sales operations, order management, customer service, or a related field.
  • Strong customer-service orientation and professional communication skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple requests, priorities, deadlines, and follow-up activities.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quote, pricing, and data accuracy.
  • The ability to understand technical products and explain options in clear business terms.
  • Strong problem-solving, organization, escalation, and follow-through skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM or quoting systems.
  • A bachelor's degree in business, technology, supply chain, or a related field is preferred; equivalent practical experience may be considered.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting business-to-business technology, hardware, distribution, or channel sales.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, QuoteWerks, QuoteValet, or similar CRM and quoting tools.
  • Experience with Enterprise Mobility products such as rugged mobile computers, tablets, barcode scanners, RFID equipment, printers, point-of-sale devices, voice solutions, accessories, or mobile-device-management software.
  • Experience working with OEMs, distributors, resellers, or purchasing organizations.
  • Familiarity with quote-to-order processes, renewals, special pricing, deal registration, and vendor coordination.
  • Experience supporting customers and sales representatives across multiple regions or time zones.
