We're looking for a commercially driven Inside Sales Specialist (m/f/d) to help us grow our reach and expand our impact.

The Opportunity

You'll actively identify new opportunities, engage prospective customers, uncover needs and demonstrate how LGC's solutions can help them achieve their goals. You'll have the autonomy to manage your territory, influence commercial outcomes and directly contribute to the growth of a global scientific organisation.

In this role, you will:

πŸš€ Generate new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and lead generation

🎯 Qualify marketing-generated and self-sourced leads, converting them into new customers

πŸ“ˆ Manage the full sales cycle from first contact through to negotiation and close

🀝 Develop strong relationships with both new and existing customers across Pharma, Biotech, Environmental, Food and Clinical markets

πŸ’‘ Identify opportunities to expand customer spend and introduce additional LGC solutions

πŸ“Š Use Salesforce and digital sales tools to build pipeline, forecast opportunities and deliver against sales targets

🌍 Collaborate with Marketing, Product and Scientific teams to identify market trends and drive growth initiatives

Qualifications

You'll likely bring:

πŸ”¬ A degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Physics or another relevant scientific discipline

πŸ’Ό Experience selling laboratory, scientific or technical products

πŸ“ˆ A track record of winning new business and achieving or exceeding sales targets

🎯 Strong business development, prospecting and opportunity qualification skills

🀝 Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation abilities

πŸ“Š Experience working with CRM platforms such as Salesforce

🌍 Fluent English skills, with additional European languages highly valued

✈️ Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 15%)
