The Inside Sales Representative acts as a dedicated consultant for prospective customers, guiding them through the transition to automated insulin delivery. This includes managing lead inquiries, educating interested individuals on the system’s benefits, andfurther supporting those leads as they prepare to be trainedonOmnipodBymaintaininga high-touch relationship with potential users, the representative ensures that every customer is fully prepared for their clinical training and long-term success withour product

This position requires a high degree of consumer interaction and communication to ensure the customer experience is positive,professionaland optimally reflectsInsulet’sgoal to exceed customer expectations.

The ideal candidate mustbe able todemonstratestrong historical sales success,strong business acumen,proven ability to learn complex technical material and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  The successful candidate will alsodemonstratethe ability to work effectivelyand professionallyin a key cross-functional role with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Achievement of agreed business goals on a quarterly, semester & annual basis

  • Contactingprospectiveleadsby phone and emailwhohaveexpressed an interest in theOmniPodSystem

  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience bydemonstratingathoroughunderstanding of howInsulet’sproducts areusedincluding the benefits of the product, answercustomer’sinquiries about theOmniPodproduct and competitive comparisons.

  • Supporting customers as they transition onto theOmnipodSystem – ensuring a smooth transition from their present treatment toOmnipod

  • Interactwith new customers onOmnipodproduct to ensuresatisfactionand understandingof our productandafter salescustomer care

  • Support existingOmnipodcustomers who mayhave taken a break from using our products orbe comingup to the end of funding to ensure retention onOmnipodproducts.

  • Collaboratewith internalstakeholdersto feedback customer insights and help support a culture of continuous improvement

  • Perform a broad range of complex and challenging sales andservice-relatedduties and administrative tasks.

  • Utililisesinternal CRM systems to accurately record all customer interactions and toorganisedaily activities

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

MinimumRequirements:

  • Degree or equivalent relevantexperience.

  • DemonstratedpreviousInside Sales experience -ideally in medicaldevices, healthcare or similarcompetitive, fast paced markets.

  • Fluent in English (mandatory)

  • Knowledge of Diabetes and Insulin Pumps is desirable (full training will be provided)

  • The ability to work overtime to meet businessobjectivesis required.

  • Requires sitting and standing associated with a normal office environment.

  • Manual dexterityis neededfor using a computer keyboard.

  • Lightweight lifting may berequired

  • Minimal business travelasneeded.

  • Attendance at business meetings – overnight on a quarterly basis.
