Job Description

The role of Inside Sales Specialist – Custom Rental Exhibits (CRE) will provide inside sales and support for custom rental exhibits within the Products & Services department in North American Exhibitions business unit with GES.

The Products & Services department’s key functions include selecting new products for offering, project management for product launches, selling the products and services, including custom rental exhibits, tracking products sales and other relevant KPIs, and adjusting to market demands.

The Inside Sales Specialist – Custom Rental Exhibits (CRE) representative works in partnership with various departments including account management, design, estimator and marketing to deliver best-in-class service. Inside Sales Specialist – Custom Rental Exhibits (CRE) representative will be responsible for qualifying, nurturing and creating leads via outbound calls, email, and other targeted initiatives to generate qualified opportunities as full proposals to secure the business opportunity. This position will be accountable for targets which may include measurement by lead volume, pipeline generation, and revenue.

The ideal candidate will be a highly professional, organized, data- and results-driven leader with proven success in growing the company’s revenue and profitability. Candidates should be comfortable with managing a large pipeline and can create professional proposals for customers within a quick turnaround.

Responsibilities:

  • Screen and qualify leads to grow the pipeline.
  • Generate customer rental exhibits initial and final proposals
  • Manage a large volume of prospecting by telephone, email, and respond to inbound inquiries and conduct outbound campaigns.
  • Nurture prospective customers along the buyer’s journey further qualifying the opportunity to the highest quality to hand off to an account manager.
  • Be comfortable with engaging customers at all levels of an organization, including high-level decision makers.
  • Ability to educate customers on products offerings.
  • Build strong relationships with the design team and account managers to build custom rental exhibit proposals in a timely manner for customer approval.
  • Ability to quickly learn products offerings and ability to communicate key aspects of those products to the customers as well as the ability to quickly adjust options to address unique customer requirements.
  • Support growth initiatives with research projects and other tasks in partnership with the sales teams and account managers.
  • Leverage database tools for discovery, research and initiation of outbound calling campaigns to new prospective customers.
  • Consistently maintain accurate documentation in appropriate business systems such as Salesforce and Oracle
  • Maintain excellent customer service satisfaction for both internal and external customers.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience in sales, lead generation or customer-facing role that is driven by quotas and/or sales goals.
  • ‘Hunter’ mentality and willingness to be proactive towards reaching goals.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Sales, Marketing, or other related field or equivalent experience.
  • Highly motivated and disciplined self-starter.
  • Excellent prospecting, discovery, and nurturing skills.
  • Must be able to learn product line and verbally describe to clients without the use of industry jargon.
  • Direct experience or capacity to learn a CRM application(s), such as Salesforce.com. or other sales database.
  • Excellent in creating professional sale proposals in programs such as MS PowerPoint.
  • Display the consultation skills necessary to successfully represent and sell products and services to existing customers and prospects
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving skills to provide first class customer service experience.

  • Remote – Position may require minimal travel.
