The Inside Sales Specialist – Targeted Markets is a high-activity, new business development role focused on acquiring small to mid-sized retail and financial institution accounts across the U.S. This position partners closely with Sales Leadership and Outside Sales Executives to identify, prospect, and close new opportunities through outbound calling, email outreach, and digital engagement.
This role is responsible for managing the full early-stage sales cycle—from initial outreach and qualification through quote delivery and close—while helping accelerate revenue across all product lines. The ideal candidate is a proactive, results-driven seller who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is motivated by winning new business.

Key Responsibilities
• Prospect and develop new business through high-volume outbound calls, email campaigns, and follow-up activities
• Respond to inbound inquiries and convert leads into qualified opportunities
• Qualify prospects and determine appropriate sales path or handoff when needed
• Generate proposals, deliver virtual presentations, and guide prospects through the buying process
• Close and onboard small to mid-sized retail and financial institution accounts (1–10 locations)
• Collaborate with Outside Sales, Sales Leadership, and internal partners to accelerate deal progression
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date activity, pipeline, and customer data in Salesforce.com
• Ensure pricing and proposals align with established guidelines and approval thresholds
• Develop and maintain strong working knowledge of all products, services, and value propositions
• Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, including new account acquisition

Qualifications
• 3+ years of inside sales or business development experience, with a focus on outbound prospecting and closing
• Proven ability to manage a high volume of outreach activity (50–100+ calls per day)
• Strong communication, presentation, and active listening skills
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multitask, and execute in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
• Comfortable engaging both technical and non-technical audiences via phone, video, and email
• Experience using Salesforce.com or a similar CRM platform
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Self-motivated with a competitive drive to win new business

Additional Information
• Location: Houston, TX
• Compensation includes base salary plus performance-based incentives, including quarterly bonuses tied to new account acquisition
