The BioProduction Group (BPG) provides the technology, materials and services to develop and produce life-changing medicines efficiently, sustainably and cost-effectively. Our Thermo Fisher Scientific site in Darmstadt is a key hub for the marketing, sales, service and support of our life sciences products. Home to around 300 colleagues, including approximately 120 field-based employees, the site brings together inside sales, our EMEA Customer Contact Center and a dedicated laboratory for customer training. From Darmstadt, we support customers across scientific research with a portfolio of more than 50,000 products, including solutions from leading brands such as Thermo Scientific, Applied Biosystems, Invitrogen, Gibco and Ion Torrent.

Join Thermo Fisher Scientific as an Inside Sales Representative (m/f/d) Bioprocessing and be part of our mission to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. In this role, you'll generate sales growth through virtual and digital channels while building strong relationships with customers across academic, biotech, pharma, clinical and industrial markets. You'll promote and sell our comprehensive portfolio of scientific products and services, using consultative selling skills to understand customer needs and provide optimal solutions. Working in a collaborative environment, you'll develop and execute strategic sales plans, manage customer relationships through our CRM system, and partner with cross-functional teams to achieve business targets. A Day in the Life:

Generate sales growth through virtual and digital channels while building strong relationships with customers across academic, biotech, pharma, clinical and industrial markets. What to expect:

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Manage customer relationships through our CRM system
• Use consultative selling skills to understand customer needs and provide optimal solutions
• Promote and sell our comprehensive portfolio of scientific products and services
• Partner with cross-functional teams to achieve business target
• Travel 10-25% for customer meetings and internal events

Keys to Success:

Education

• Bachelor’s degree with laboratory and/or research experience
• Preferred Fields of Study: Life Sciences, Biology, Chemistry or related scientific field

Experience

• Previous Sales Experience is an advantage but not required
• Experience with scientific products/instruments preferred but not required

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Strong consultative selling and relationship building skills
• Proficiency with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to develop and maintain deep product and technical knowledge
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Effective at working both independently and collaboratively
• Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple priorities
• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical capabilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in both English and German
