Job Description

  • This is a 50+ year old lumber and building materials supplier serving homeowners, remodelers, and contractors in Southern California

What is Being Offered:

  • $25-$30/hour + commission
  • Benefits
  • 401K & PTO

What The Position is About:

  • Support contractors, builders, remodelers, and walk-in customers with quotes, estimates, and order support
  • Provide product and pricing information to customers
  • Enter the sales orders accurately and efficiently
  • Work closely with vendors to check pricing, availability, and delivery timelines
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with builders and contractors
  • Troubleshoot product or service issues and resolve customer complaints promptly
  • Commit to continuous learning and knowledge of the company’s products and maintain up to date on industry trends and developments that may affect the market

The Right Candidate Will Have:

  • Inside sales, counter sales, or customer-facing sales experience within the building materials industry
  • Experience handling quoting, estimates, and day-to-day customer service
  • Lumber and framing knowledge
