Job Description

The Inside Sales Representative acts as the primary liaison between the assigned sales team, planning, logistics, and customers to gather and record information into our order entry and ERP systems. The position also interacts with external customers and internal groups within the supply chain to develop and implement service and cost optimization solutions. The position works with transportation vendors to maintain a consistent and reliable booking, transportation, and documentation flow. This position investigates quality and service complaints, identifies root causes and formulates corrective actions. This position learns and overseas customer portfolio habits.

• Proactively manage assigned account(s) to include order fulfillment process, execution of orders, and review of scheduling
• Understand customer product portfolio
• Correlate to sales and communicate activity to stimulate improvement
• Coordinate with cross functional teams, and resolve / implement solutions to service challenges
• Maintain close relationship with customer purchasing and scheduling, planning, forecasting and logistic departments
• Communicate with customers in a professional manner. Obtain customer feedback information and provide timely feedback to the company regarding service failures or customer concerns
• Review daily production schedule to anticipate changes in order status and proactively communicate issues to customers
• Liaise with Sales and Finance in case of credit-blocked deliveries.
• Solicit sale of new or additional products
• Develop and manage account relationships and provide service support for customers
• Prepare quotations according to bid specifications, with accurate configurations
• Keep the CRM database up to date with customer information, sales stage processes and customer contacts, appointments, or complaints
• Understand customer's processes, unique needs and supply/demand requirements to anticipate and satisfy customer's needs
• Support marketing efforts and educate customers on products
• Maintain complete knowledge of all products and services, our target industries (customers, trends, etc.), and competitors
• Stay informed on governmental regulations pertaining to product offerings and communicate this information to sales management
• Prepare organized, accurate written reports to be used by senior management in making business decisions.

• 3 - 5 years of experience in supply chain (e.g., managing inventory, customer management, exporting/importing, transportation).
• Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly
• Bachelor’s degree or high school degree with equivalent experience.
• Advanced skills using Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel (Experience creating analytical reports), Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Experience working within an ERP system
