The Inside Sales Assistant will be responsible for assisting with the ongoing development of existing and prospective accounts by supporting Sales Representatives within branch location.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Respond to Customer inquiries with business partnership mentality and professionalism.
• Responsible for administrative and operations functions.
• Resolve material issues with vendors.
• Interact with both customers and vendors to complete sales orders and follow them through the invoicing process.
• Support Sales Representatives as work load permits.
• Initiate item coding of orders, enter sales orders, issue purchase orders to vendors, and expedite open orders.
• Support efforts to exceed sales goals, increase market share and improve customer satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma and/or equivalent
• Process, administrative, operations and SAP experience a plus
• Positive and assertive attitude
• Strong work ethic and integrity
• Detail-oriented, organized, and analytical
• Computer skills (Microsoft Office - Excel and Word)
• Oral and written communication skills, both internal and external
• Goal-oriented with the ability to multi-task under pressure in fast-paced work environment
