Job Description

When an industrial plant’s ultra-pure water supply runs low, production can grind to a halt - and getting it back up and running fast is exactly what our Memphis service team does best. We keep medical device makers, food and beverage producers, pharmaceutical plants and manufacturers across the Southeast supplied with clean, deionized water through our exchange tank, mobile deionization and resin regeneration services.

We are looking for a driven, commercially minded Inside Sales Representative to grow this service business - winning new accounts, growing existing ones, and building the kind of recurring relationships that keep customers with us for years. If you have the sales instinct and the drive, we will give you the knowledge to succeed - full training on our services and applications is provided from day one.

About Envirogen

Envirogen is a specialist water treatment and process filtration business, working with customers across the United States, the UK and Europe. From our Memphis facility, our service team helps industrial customers across the Southeast keep their operations clean, compliant and running - recharging and regenerating the deionization systems that critical processes depend on. As we grow this part of the business, we are investing in the people who will help us reach more customers than ever before.

What you will be doing

  • Generate new service opportunities through outbound calls, video meetings and email
  • Build genuine, lasting relationships with new and existing industrial accounts
  • Understand each customer’s water treatment needs and match them to the right service
  • Win new service agreements and turn one-off jobs into long-term, recurring contracts
  • Grow existing accounts through cross-selling and upselling across our service lines
  • Convert inquiries and quotes into signed agreements and repeat business
  • Keep an accurate, healthy pipeline in our CRM system
  • Work closely with our Memphis operations and field service teams to deliver a first-class customer experience

This role would be a good fit if you

  • Enjoy being on the phone - starting conversations gives you a buzz rather than a knot in your stomach
  • Get a genuine kick out of winning new business and turning a "maybe" into a "yes"
  • Are motivated by targets and love watching your commission climb as you hit them
  • Can take a "no" on the chin and move straight on to the next opportunity
  • Would rather build long-term, repeat relationships than chase one-off sales
  • Are curious enough to enjoy learning how technical services work and why they matter
  • Are self-motivated and organized enough to keep a busy pipeline moving

What is in it for you

  • Competitive base salary of $62,000 pro rata on a 6 month contract
  • An accelerating commission plan that keeps rewarding you as you over-achieve
  • Full training on our service lines and water treatment applications
  • Be part of a growing service business with real momentum across the Southeast
  • Real scope to develop your career as the business expands
  • Supportive colleagues across operations, field service and technical who want you to win

Requirements

What we are looking for

  • Proven success in a business-to-business sales role, ideally selling industrial, technical or service-based products
  • A track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets
  • Confidence developing relationships and growing accounts by phone and video
  • Strong commercial awareness and comfortable negotiating
  • Well organized, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities at once
  • Comfortable getting to grips with technical services and explaining them simply
  • Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel and Teams
  • High school diploma or GED; further education in a technical or business field is a plus
  • A valid US driver’s license is helpful for the occasional customer visit

No degree required - we care about attitude, drive and results. Full training on our services and applications is provided.

Benefits

  • Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)
  • Retirement Plan (401k, IRA)
  • Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)
