Basic Job Functions:

The Inside Sales Representative will take care of our customers by executing the Plate group’s safety, quality, cost, productivity, and profitability objectives. Inside Sales Representatives work directly with our customers, handling all facets of the order management process. The goal of the Inside Sales Representative is to provide responsive service, build strong relationships, enter accurate orders, offer proactive problem solving and effective communication. This role requires collaboration with the Outside Sales team, Credit, Production, Quality, Metallurgists, and Shipping. Must be willing to travel occasionally and work scheduled and unscheduled overtime. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Supervisor and/or Manager Approval
  • 2 years business related degree or relevant experience in sales or customer service
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (primarily excel)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Knowledge of steel making, B2B sales, and the Steel Industry
