Are you motivated, resilient, and ready to take your first big step in business development? We are looking for an Inside Sales – New Business consultant to join our team in Hamilton!

About the role - Mō te tūranga

As part of our sales team, you’ll focus on identifying new business opportunities, connecting with potential customers, and helping shape solutions to meet their transport and logistics needs. You’ll be trained on our systems and services, build confidence in managing a sales pipeline, and play a key role in supporting our growth strategy.

Additional key duties below:

  • Prospect for new customers to help us achieve growth targets
  • Manage and maintain a healthy sales pipeline using Salesforce
  • Build relationships with prospective clients and tailor solutions to their needs
  • Support the onboarding process to make sure new customers are set up correctly
  • Monitor the first few months of new customer trade to ensure satisfaction before handover
  • Work closely with operations, customer service, and account managers to deliver a seamless customer experience

We’re looking for someone who’s driven, confident, and eager to learn.

Additionally, you’ll bring:

  • Some sales, customer service, or business development experience (any industry)
  • Great communication skills and a customer-first mindset
  • Resilience, energy, and a willingness to pick up the phone and make things happen
  • An interest in building a long-term career in sales
  • Bonus points if you’ve used a CRM like Salesforce before!
