Main Duties & Responsibilities
PennAero is hiring an Inside Sales Manager at our RSA Engineered Products Company in Simi Valley, CA. RSA provides flight-critical components and assemblies for the commercial, defense and business jet markets. RSA designs and produces custom-engineered high pressure/high-temperature ducting assemblies for each customer’s specific performance requirements. RSA’s Peri-SealTM is one of the most sought after connectors in the aerospace industry. Additionally, RSA designs and produces flexible joints and hoses, ozone converters and many complex assemblies to meet stringent customer needs.

The Inside Sales Manager oversees the company’s Inside Sales department with
direct responsibility for the development and implementation of business
relationships with customers. This position plans, directs, and supports
all inside sales strategies, functions, policies, objectives and initiatives.
Anticipates and reacts quickly to trends and changes in performance.
Manages, develops, and mentors the inside sales team. Directly manages
inside sales and customer service representatives. Participates in
corporate succession planning activities, writes and delivers employee reviews,
keeps close tabs on employee morale and creates a positive working environment.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities and
Competencies:
Analyzes marketing trends, sales history, demographic information and related
databases to establish pricing and prepare proposals.
Collects and analyzes data on the market position of competitors.
Assists with sales negotiations, attends sales presentations and helps close
sales deals. Directly manages very large, high profile customer accounts,
as appropriate.
Ensures inside sales employees are equipped with the product, system and
selling-skills training, that they require being successful.
Continually improves the effectiveness of the inside sales organization and
enhances productivity, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Develop and coordinate inside sales selling cycle and methodology.
Establish and implement short-and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and
operating procedures.
Promote positive relations with partners and distributors.
Work with department managers and corporate staff to develop strategies for
future business plan for the company
Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and persuasion
skills.
Work using both ERP and CRM systems as well as customer
portal.
Manages the standardized price list.
Helps to resolve customer conflicts and manages the process
of providing status to customers for orders.
Works with assigned outside sales team and supports the
management team as requested.
This role is required to be on-site 5 days at the Simi Valley, CA location.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s
degree in Marketing or Business preferred. Must have seven to ten years
of experience in a sales leadership role with at least 4 years in
selling. Must have experience in new business development activities,
including customer interaction, acquisition and procurement processes, and competitive assessment
Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management. Knowledge
of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations.
Able to travel 5% of the time.
This role involves access to technical data and/or hardware subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). In order to comply with these laws, employment is contingent upon verifying your status as a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15, or obtaining any required government authorization.
Compensation
In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the expected pay range for this position is $113,000 - $145,000.
Compensation can vary depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses.
