You will assist the Regional Commercial Sales organization with rapid and accurate responses involving project estimates, proposal preparation and post-sale support. You will also provide technical support to end users, engineers, and mechanical contractors.
Job Responsibilities
Review plans and specifications to develop HVAC systems solutions
Provide HVAC equipment selections and cost estimates for new and replacement business
Provide technical support for the sales of commercial air conditioning systems to customers and their respective consulting engineers
Seek new business opportunities by responding to RFQ’s for new and/or existing customers.
Have an ability to coordinate across multiple functions, to maintain composure in high-pressure situations, and to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
Support Sales Managers and Sales Coordinators with new and existing accounts and introduction of new products.
Supporting Charlotte, Raleigh and SC
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
3 Years of experience in the HVAC Industry
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar technical discipline
Experience Selecting and Quoting the following products:
AT= Air Terminals (VAV boxes), 35/45/36 series
RFC= Room Fan Coils, 42 series
UV= Unit Ventilators, 40 series
VPAC= Vertical Packaged Air Conditioning units, 50BV/XC
WSHP = Water Source Heat Pumps
Excellent interpersonal/influencing skills to work across the Carrier organization and with customers
Have a combination of excellent technical skills, be a self-starter, with strong business understanding, strong self-direction
