As part of Siemens, a global technology leader driving innovation in electrification, automation and digitalisation, we combine the agility of a specialist electrical manufacturer with the strength, investment and vision of a world-renowned organisation.

In this position, you'll build and develop relationships with electrical wholesale customers across the UK. Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with a portfolio of electrical wholesale customers.
  • Proactively engage with customers via telephone, email and virtual meetings to understand their requirements and identify opportunities.
  • Promote products, services and sales campaigns to increase customer engagement and product penetration.
  • Support the growth and development of existing customer accounts through effective account management.
  • Identify dormant or underperforming accounts and help implement plans to re-engage customers.
  • Support the onboarding of new customers and contribute to account development activities.
  • Work closely with Account Managers and Business Development Managers to support wider sales objectives.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and monitor account activity to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Contribute towards achieving individual sales targets and supporting profitable business growth.

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements

  • Experience in a sales or customer-facing role.
  • Strong communication skills with confidence engaging customers over the telephone.
  • The ability to influence, negotiate and identify sales opportunities.
  • A positive and customer-focused approach.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience managing customer relationships or developing customer accounts.
  • Knowledge of electrical products, applications or the electrical wholesale market.
  • A growth mindset and willingness to learn and develop.
  • A driven, self-motivated approach with a desire to achieve results.
  • A collaborative attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team.

What can we offer?

  • Performance-Based Bonus
  • Pension Plan: Secure your future with our generous pension scheme, with employer contributions up to 10%.
  • Time Off: Recharge and rejuvenate with 26 days of annual leave (plus bank holidays), and the option to buy or sell an additional 5 days!

We are fully committed to providing equal opportunities and building an inclusive workplace where a broad range of backgrounds and perspectives thrive.
