We’re looking for our next Inside Sales Associate to join the Inside Sales Team in Barcelona. You will manage and develop a portfolio of Italian schools while also building new business opportunities over time.
This role combines consultative sales, customer success, and training responsibilities. Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, this person will work closely with the Regional Manager EMEA and other regional stakeholders to execute the strategy for Italy, support schools throughout the customer lifecycle, and strengthen Edpuzzle's local presence. The role requires someone comfortable navigating the specifics of the Italian education market, including public school procurement and government-linked partnerships.
Own a portfolio of Italian schools and manage the full customer lifecycle, with a strong focus on engagement, retention, and renewals.
Build and manage a healthy new business pipeline through inbound lead follow-up, proactive prospecting, referrals, and targeted outreach.
Conduct discovery conversations, product demonstrations, presentations, and consultative sales meetings with teachers, school leaders, and other decision makers.
Deliver or coordinate engaging product training and onboarding sessions to help increase usage, confidence, and renewal readiness across your portfolio
Maintain accurate and timely records in Salesforce, including opportunities, customer activity, next steps, forecasts, and renewal status.
Track and deliver against agreed business goals and performance indicators, including pipeline, conversion, ARR, engagement, and renewals.
Work closely with the Regional Manager EMEA to translate the Italian market strategy into account-level actions, share market insights, and ensure consistent execution.
Collaborate with School Success, Growth, Product, Finance, and other internal teams to solve customer needs and provide a coherent experience.
Coordinate effectively with Italian resellers and channel partners, recognizing that schools may need to purchase through approved partners and local processes.
Contribute to the Italian Edpuzzle community by sharing relevant local content, supporting engagement initiatives, and building relationships with educators and key stakeholders.
Gather customer and market feedback, identify patterns, and turn learnings into repeatable processes, playbooks, and recommendations.
Support additional regions when business priorities require it, using English or other relevant language skills.
Travel occasionally within the country to support schools and events on the ground if needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Proven experience in B2B sales, account management, customer success, business development, or a similar customer-facing role, with a track record of managing pipelines, customer portfolios, renewals, and measurable commercial targets.
Native or bilingual proficiency in Italian and strong professional English communication skills are required, as you’ll interact with Italian schools, international colleagues, partners, and other stakeholders on a daily basis.
Strong consultative sales and relationship-building skills, with the ability to understand customer needs, communicate value, handle objections, and build credibility with teachers, school leaders, administrators, resellers, and partners.
Confident and engaging presenter, comfortable delivering product demonstrations, onboarding, training sessions, and workshops in both remote and in-person settings.
Organized, proactive, and data-driven, with the ability to manage competing priorities, maintain accurate information in Salesforce or a similar CRM, identify risks, and take ownership of opportunities and renewals from start to finish.
Experience in EdTech, the education sector, the Italian school system, community engagement, or working with resellers and public-sector purchasing processes would be a strong plus.
Previous experience in EdTech or the education sector, particularly within the Italian market.
A background in teaching, instructional coaching, or delivering training to educators.
Familiarity with the Italian education system, including grants, public-sector purchasing processes, resellers, and channel partners.
Experience creating localized content, supporting community initiatives, or engaging professional audiences through social media.

At Edpuzzle, we've been on both sides of the classroom, because so many of us started our journey as teachers. In fact, Edpuzzle was born out of a real need when our CEO who was working as a math teacher had a classroom full of students who were tuned out. This challenge was the seed that would grow into Edpuzzle: the realization that engaging, interactive content could inspire students to take an active role in their learning.
Today, educators worldwide use Edpuzzle to create interactive lessons that spark curiosity and track real learning, helping them have more time to focus on what matters most: their students. We’re proud to stand with teachers, building tools that fit the needs of real classrooms and supporting them in delivering an excellent education every day.
