Who We Are:

American Thermowell, A TASI Measurement Company, has offices in Canada and the United States with 30 years of experience manufacturing thermowells for a global customer base. Using CNC equipment and a range of alloys, we create products tailored to our customers’ specific requirements.

Our experienced team works closely with customers to deliver precision manufacturing, specialty welding, and custom machining services. Quality craftsmanship, dependable delivery, and responsiveness to changing customer needs are at the heart of our work.

Job Summary:

This role supports sales growth by maintaining and expanding the company’s customer base, achieving weekly sales targets, and providing exceptional service to new and existing customers. Responsibilities include preparing accurate, timely quotes, processing sales orders based on system lead times and product availability and responding promptly to customer inquiries and concerns. The position builds strong customer relationships, explains product and service features, and coordinates with Production, Quality, Purchasing, and Shipping to communicate order changes, bill of materials requirements, and rework needs to ensure accurate order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Achieve weekly sales targets through maintaining and expanding the company’s database of customers
• Provide exceptional customer service to new and existing customers
• Generate accurate quotes in a timely and efficient manner
• Answer phone call and e-mail inquiries from customers and generate Sales Orders based on lead time and availability listed in the system
• Respond swiftly and courteously to customer complaints or inquiries
• Build rapport with customers through friendly, engaging communication
• Assist with explaining features of products and services when needed
• Liaise with Production, Quality, Purchasing and Shipping departments to communicate any changes/revisions, BOM requirements or other relevant order updates
• Facilitate the process of Re-Makes or Re-Works alongside with Quality Department when necessary
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• College diploma in Instrumentation & Controls preferred
• Proven experience in Microsoft Office Suite
• 1-2 years of customer service experience considered an asset
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to achieve targets

Physical Demands:

• Stationary Position: Must be able to remain in a stationary (seated or standing) position for up to 50–75% of the working day. [1, 2]
• Computer and Equipment Operation: Constantly operates a computer, keyboard, mouse, telephone, and other office productivity machinery like a copy machine or printer. [1, 2]
• Moving and Traversing: Occasionally moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or attend meetings. [1]
• Lifting and Carrying: Occasionally lifts, carries, or moves lightweight objects, files, or boxes weighing up to 10–20 pounds.
• Vision and Communication: Specific vision abilities required include close vision for computer work, and the ability to communicate clearly during phone calls or in-person discussions. [1, 2]
• Repetitive Motion: Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling office documents.

Pay Transparency:

We are committed to pay transparency and equitable compensation practices. The compensation range for this position is $18.00–$22.00 per hour, depending on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.

In addition to base compensation, this role includes a comprehensive benefit package which may include health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other benefits.
