As a SAP consulting generalist at PwC, you will focus on providing consulting services across various SAP applications to clients, analysing their needs, implementing software solutions, and offering training and support for effective utilisation of SAP applications. Your versatile knowledge will allow you to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency and achieving their strategic objectives.

*Responsibilities: 

• Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for data integration and architecture using SAP BODS.

• Lead initiatives to improve data management practices, data governance, and data quality across the organization.

• Manage and mentor a team of data architects and engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

• Set performance objectives, conduct regular evaluations, and provide professional development opportunities.

• Design and implement scalable and robust data architectures to support business intelligence and analytics.

• Ensure seamless integration of data from various sources using SAP BODS, enhancing data accessibility and usability.

• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of data projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.

• Manage budgets, resources, and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

• Work closely with business leaders, IT teams, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions that drive business value.

• Communicate effectively with executive leadership on the status of data initiatives and their impact.

• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies related to data architecture and integration.

• Implement best practices and innovative solutions to continuously improve data capabilities.

*Mandatory skill sets 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field;Master’sdegree preferred.

• 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data integration, and management, with a focus on SAP BODS.

• Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing data architecture and integration projects.

• Strong understanding of SAP BODS functionalities and data modeling techniques.

• Experience with data governance, data quality, and data lifecycle management.

• Excellent leadership and team management skills.

• Strong project management abilities, including planning, execution, and stakeholder communication.

• Proficiency in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services and other SAP data management tools.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with various stakeholders.

• Strategic thinking and ability to align data initiatives with business objectives.
