As a SAP consulting generalist at PwC, you will focus on providing consulting services across various SAP applications to clients, analysing their needs, implementing software solutions, and offering training and support for effective utilisation of SAP applications. Your versatile knowledge will allow you to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency and achieving their strategic objectives.
& Summary
We are seeking a skilled SAP MM Consultant with 4–7 years of experience to join our consulting team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP Materials Management, including procurement, inventory management, and vendor management processes, with hands-on experience in implementation and support projects.
Responsibilities
Work on SAP MM module implementation, rollout, and support projects
Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions
Configure SAP MM processes such as:
Procurement (PR, PO, RFQ, Contracts)
Inventory Management
Invoice Verification
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including FI, SD, and WM
Perform system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
Provide production support and resolve incidents within SLA timelines
Prepare functional specifications for custom developments (RICEFW objects)
Conduct end-user training and create documentation
Support data migration and cutover activities
Mandatory Skill sets
Strong knowledge of:
Procurement cycle and inventory processes
Vendor master and material master data
Experience in at least 1–2 end-to-end SAP implementations
Good understanding of integration with other SAP modules (FI, SD)
Exposure to S/4HANA is preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Skill Sets
Experience in SAP S/4HANA MM
Knowledge of release strategies and pricing procedures
Familiarity with IDOCs, interfaces, and enhancements
Exposure to Agile/Activate methodology
Years of Experience Required:
4–7 years of hands-on experience in SAP MM
Education Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Commerce, or related field
MBA or relevant certification is a plus
SAP MM certification preferred
