As a SAP consulting generalist at PwC, you will focus on providing consulting services across various SAP applications to clients, analysing their needs, implementing software solutions, and offering training and support for effective utilisation of SAP applications. Responsibilities:
Integration Design & Development:
Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end integration solutions andiFlowswithin the SAP CPI Web UI.
Requirement Gathering:
Collaborate with business stakeholders and functional teams to gather, analyze, and translate integration requirements into technical specifications.
Configuration:
Configure and manage various adapters (SOAP, REST, OData, IDoc, SFTP, JMS, etc.) tofacilitateconnectivity between different systems.
Data Transformation:
Handle complex message transformations using graphical mapping, Groovy, and JavaScript scripting.
Troubleshooting:
Monitor integration processes, perform root cause analysis for issues, and develop solutions to resolve them.
Documentation:
Create andmaintaincomprehensive technical and functional design documents for integration solutions.
Security & Best Practices:
Implement secure authentication mechanisms (OAuth, Basic, Certificates, SAML) and apply best practices for secure, scalable, and efficient integration architecture.
Testing & Support:
Perform unit testing, support integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and provide ongoing support for existing integrations.
Required Skills &Expertise
SAP CPI (Integration Suite):
Advancedproficiencyand hands-on experience in designing and developingiFlows
Adapters:
Expertisein configuring various standard and custom adapters.
Scripting:
Proficiencyin Groovy and JavaScript for message mapping andtransformations
Protocols:
Experience with integration protocols such as HTTP, REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, SFTP, and JMS.
Security:
Knowledge of setting up and managing secure integration scenarios and authentication.
Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to perform root cause analysis and resolve integration issues.
Communication:
Excellent written and oral communication skills to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
Project Experience:
Experience in implementing and supporting integration solutions for at least two full project life cycles.
