As a business application consulting generalist at PwC, you will provide consulting services for a wide range of business applications. You will leverage a broad understanding of various software solutions to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency through analysis, implementation, training, and support.
& Summary: Senior QA Automation Engineer
Responsibilities:
•Independently design, develop, andmaintainUI, API, and end-to-end automation frameworks for enterprise applications.
•Create reusable components.
•Debug automation issues.
•Maintainregression suites.
•Support manual testing wheneverrequired
•Collaborate with the team through tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
•Work with version control and CI/CD pipelines.
•Learn and adapt tonew technologies
•Visit client sites acrossBangaloreasrequired
Mandatory skill sets:
6–8 years in automation testing across UI, API, and end-to-end testing.
Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or similar.
Programming skills in Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or equivalent.
Worked on GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, etc. AI tools for efficiency gain.
Familiarity with defect tracking and DevOps tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps (ADO).
Strong version control experience with Git or equivalent.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps pipelines, or similar.
Ability to work independently and take full ownership of automation deliverables.
Support manual testing tasks as needed.
Strong learning agility to adapt to new tools and technologies.
