In business intelligence at PwC, you will focus on leveraging data and analytics to provide strategic insights and drive informed decision-making for clients. You will develop and implement innovative solutions to optimise business performance and enhance competitive advantage.
Responsibilities:
Develop, test, andmaintainRESTful APIs using Python frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, Fast API).
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Build responsive and dynamic user interfaces using React or Angular.
Participate in the entire software development lifecycle includingrequirementsanalysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
Optimizeapplication for maximum speed and scalability.
Maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, designers, and other developers.
Write clear and concise documentation relating to application development.
Ensure security and data protectionbestpractice.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Python Developer with strong knowledge of Python 3.x.
Hands-on experience developing RESTful APIs using frameworks like Django (Django REST Framework), Flask, or Fast API.
Proficient in front-end development using React.js or Angular.
Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
Experience with database systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
Understanding ofauthentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth).
Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
Experience with containerization tools like Docker is a plus.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
