Those in data and automation at PwC will focus on automating data internally using automation tools or software to streamline data-related processes within the organisation. Your work will involve automating data collection, data analysis, data visualisation, or any other tasks that involve handling and processing data.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, test and maintain robust and scalable backend applications usingFlask, Djangodeliver high-
performance APIs.
- Write reusable efficient code following best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
-Architect and implement distributed, scalable microservices leveraging Temporal workflows for orchestrating
complex processes.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers
- Debug and resolve technical issues and production incidents
- Follow agile methodologies and contribute to sprint planning and estimations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Relevant certifications are a plus
Mandatory Skill sets:
- Strong proficiency in Python 3.x.
-Collaborate closely with DevOps to implement CI/CD pipelines for Pythonprojects, ensuring smooth deployment to
production environments.
-Integrate with various databases (e.g., Cosmos DB,) and message queues (e.g., Kafka, eventhub)for seamless
backend operations.
- Experience in one or more Python frameworks (Django, Flask)
-Develop and maintain unit and integration tests using frameworks like pytestand unittestto ensure code quality
