We areseekinga highly analytical and technically robustSenior Performance Engineer to ensure our enterprise applications meet the highest standards of scalability, reliability, and speed.
In this role, you will not just execute tests; you will own the end-to-end performance engineering lifecycle. You will simulate complex, high-concurrency user traffic, analyze systemic bottlenecks across distributed architectures, and partner with development teams to optimize code, database queries, and infrastructure configuration.

Responsibilities
Performance Testing & Simulation
Test Strategy & Modeling: Define comprehensive performance test plans, workload models, and non-functional requirements, NFRs, based on production business metrics.
Scripting & Execution: Design,maintain, and execute highly scalable load, stress, endurance, spike, and scalability tests using a variety of protocols and tools, k6, JMeter,NeoLoad, or LoadRunner.
CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated performance regression testing shifts left into deployment pipelines, using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions, to catch performance regressions early in the SDLC.
Deep-Dive Diagnostics & Observability
Full-Stack Bottleneck Analysis: Utilize APM tools, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Datadog, to isolate performance bottlenecks across application layers, microservices, JVMs/NET runtimes, and databases.
Log Analysis & Pattern Matching: Build advanced queries, dashboards, and alerts in Splunk or Datadog to analyze error rates, latency distribution, and anomalous system behavior during load events.
Code & Architecture Optimization: Analyze thread dumps, heap dumps, CPU profiles, network latency, and database execution plans to provide actionable optimization recommendations to software engineers.
Reporting & Stakeholder Management
Data-Driven Reporting: Translate raw performance test data into executive-friendly summaries and highly detailed technical reports.
Capacity Planning: Analyze production growth trends and performance test results to forecast future infrastructure capacity needs.
Technical Skills & Qualifications
Mandatory Skill Sets:
Experience: 5+ years of dedicated experience in Performance Engineering and Performance Testing.
Load Testing Toolkit: Proficient with multiple testing tools, specifically:
Modern/Code-as-Test: k6, JavaScript/Go, or JMeter.
Enterprise:NeoLoador HP/Micro Focus LoadRunner, Web, Web Services,TruClientprotocols.
APM & Observability Mastery: Hands-on experience troubleshooting live load tests using Dynatrace, AppDynamics,AppD, or Datadog.
Log Analytics: Strong ability to write complex search queries and build dashboards in Splunk or ELK.
Technical Fundamentals: Deep understanding of HTTP/S protocols, REST/gRPCAPIs, TCP/IP networking, connection pooling, thread concurrency, and garbage collection mechanisms.
Scripting: Strong scripting capabilities in JavaScript, for k6, Java/BeanShell, for JMeter, C, for LoadRunner, or Python for data parsing and automation.
Preferred Skill Sets:
Experience testing cloud-native applications hosted on AWS or Azure.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration, Docker, Kubernetes, and how itimpactsresourceutilizationunder load.
Experience with database performance tuning, SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL solutions.
