As a business application consulting generalist at PwC, you will provide consulting services for a wide range of business applications. You will leverage a broad understanding of various software solutions to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency through analysis, implementation, training, and support.
& Summary:We areseekingaexperienced Java Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, andmaintaininghigh-performance, scalable Java-based applications. You will be working with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet businessrequirements
Responsibilities:
1.Design, develop, andmaintainscalable and robust Java applications
2.Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices
3.Collaborate with architects,business analysts,front-enddevelopersand other developersto define software requirements and design solutions
4.Troubleshoot and debug applications, and providetimelyresolutions
5.Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers
6.Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
7.Stay current with emerging technologies and propose improvements
8.Contribute to the entire application lifecycle – concept, design, build, deploy, test, and support
Mandatory skill sets:
1.5-8years of experience inbackend-end development with a strong focus on Javadevelopment
2Strong understanding of Java SE/EE, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security)
3.Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and Web Services (SOAP/REST)
4.Experience with build tools (Maven/Gradle) and version control systems (Git)
5.Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
6.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team
Preferred skill sets:
Familiarity with front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML, CSS
Familiarity withSQL, JPA/Hibernate, and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and development best practices.
