& Summary A career within FII services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients leverage Financial Services to enhance their customer experiences

*Responsibilities: The role would be a part of teams lead by Team Leader (Managers and Directors) and the client service Partners. The tasks, roles and responsibilities pertaining to the job role of an Associate will include the following: ● Develop an expert understanding on various exchange traded financial products / securities and the contractual, settlement, regulatory and tax related aspects of the same. ● Project Management – In-depth technical knowledge, good drafting skills, sound knowledge of basics of income tax and tax treaties, Direct Tax and knowledge of other regulations like, tax treaties, foreign exchange regulations and SEBI regulations,. ● Research capabilities –independently conducting technical research, knowledge of all Tax-Related Books/software for research (experienced Associates). ● Client deliverables – Preparing Memos/Opinion/Submissions/PPT and adhering to timelines. ● Handling client relationship – Updating clients on on-going matters on a prompt and regular basis, keeping track of industry developments. ● Sharing industry knowledge and learnings with teams, peers, etc. ● Assistance in representation before tax and regulatory authorities – collating information from different sources, drafting submissions, finalising with clients. ● Responsible for ensuring compliance with the firm’s Risk Management compliances for allocated clients on a regular basis. Working alongside other senior team members on business development initiatives. Reviewing the work performed by Analysts and Senior Analysts.

*Mandatory skill sets ● Qualified Chartered Accountant with 0-3 years of relevant experience or Commerce or relevant field graduate with at least five years of relevant experience ● Articleship in Big 4 or prior experience in Corp Tax/FS will be an added advantage. ● Thorough knowledge of - Income Tax and tax treaties concepts ) - - Understanding of FEMA and SEBI regulations ● Other prerequisite skills includes: - Demonstrating innovative and critical thinking in managing projects - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong analytical and numerical skills - Good Interpersonal skills and Networking skills - Well-rounded commercial and economic awareness and understanding of the financial markets

- Passion for client servicing - Efficiency in MS office and report writing skills - Knowledge of technology platforms such as Altreyx and Power BI would be an added advantage. - Motivated, creative and decisive in approach to problem solving - Ownership and responsibility of clients/tasks delegated

*Preferred skill sets ● Good working knowledge of Tax and regulatory laws relating to income-tax, companies act, SEBI rules and regulations, FEMA, banking, other SEBI regulations, etc. Preferably worked on Banking/FPI clients for atleast last 0-3 years.

*Years of experience required § Minimum 0 – 3 years of Direct Tax, FPI experience

*Education Qualification § Chartered Accountant (additional qualifications such as LLB, CS, CFA preferred)
