We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineerto join our Azure‑firstGlobal Capability Center (GCC) This roleis responsible foroperating,optimizing, and modernizing enterprise and cloud infrastructure, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure and hybrid environmentssupporting global business platforms.

The engineer will work closely with global IT, cloud, security, and application teams to ensure availability, scalability, security, and operational excellenceacross production environments.

Responsibilities

Azure & Hybrid Infrastructure Operations

• Operate and support Azure infrastructure servicesincluding VMs, Storage, Networking, and identity services

• Manage hybrid infrastructureintegratingon‑premsystems with Azure cloud

• Ensure high availability, performance, backup, and disaster recoveryforbusiness‑criticalworkloads

• Provide L3/L2 infrastructure support, including incident, problem, and change management

• Participate in on‑callrotationssupporting global 24x7 environments

Cloud Platform & Modernization

• Support andmaintainAzure subscriptions, resource groups, networking, and access control

• Execute and support cloud migration and infrastructure modernizationinitiatives

• Monitor infrastructure health using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and alerting tools

• Drive capacity planning, cost optimization, and performance tuning

Automation & Infrastructure as Code

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and operations using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep

• Develop scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or Python

• Improve operational efficiency through standardization and self-service tooling

Security, Compliance & Governance

• Implement patching, hardening, backup, and DRbest practices

• Support security controls, audits, and compliance requirements

• Follow enterprise change, risk, and release managementprocesses

Collaboration & GCC Ownership

• Work closely with global cloud, network, security, and application teams

• Create andmaintainSOPs, runbooks, and infrastructure documentation

• Act as an Azure infrastructure SMEwithin the GCC

Required Skills & Qualifications

Core Infrastructure Skills

• Strong experience in Infrastructure / Systems / Cloud Engineeringroles

• Hands‑onexpertisewith:

• Windows & Linux servers

• Virtualization(VMware / Hyper‑V)

• Storage, Backup, and DR solutions

• Networking fundamentals(DNS, Load Balancers, Firewalls, TCP/IP)

Azure & Tooling

• Stronghands‑onexperience with Microsoft Azure, including:

• Azure VMs,VNets, NSGs, Load Balancers, Azure Storage

• Azure Monitor, Log Analytics

• Azure AD / Entra ID basics

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code(Terraform, ARM, Bicep)

• Familiarity with ITSM tools, monitoring, and alerting platforms

Professional Skills

• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysisskills

• Ability tooperatein global,follow‑the‑sundelivery models

• Clear communication and documentation skills

Good to Have

• Experience working in a Global Capability Center (GCC)

• Exposure to Azure Landing Zones, enterprise-scale Azure setups

• Knowledge of DevOps / automation-first infrastructure practices

• Azure certifications (AZ‑104, AZ‑305, etc.)

• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise platforms
