We are looking for anInfrastructure Engineer to join ourAzure‑firstGlobal Capability Center (GCC) This roleis responsible foroperating,optimizing, and modernizingenterprise and cloud infrastructure , with a strong focus onMicrosoft Azure and hybrid environments supporting global business platforms.

The engineer will work closely with global IT, cloud, security, and application teams to ensureavailability, scalability, security, and operational excellence across production environments.

Responsibilities

Azure & Hybrid Infrastructure Operations

• Operate and supportAzure infrastructure services including VMs, Storage, Networking, and identity services

• Managehybrid infrastructure integratingon‑ premsystems with Azure cloud

• Ensurehigh availability, performance, backup, and disaster recovery forbusiness‑ criticalworkloads

• ProvideL3/L2 infrastructure support , including incident, problem, and change management

• Participate inon‑callrotations supporting global 24x7 environments

Cloud Platform & Modernization

• Support andmaintainAzure subscriptions, resource groups, networking, and access control

• Execute and supportcloud migration and infrastructure modernization initiatives

• Monitor infrastructure health usingAzure Monitor, Log Analytics, and alerting tools

• Drivecapacity planning, cost optimization, and performance tuning

Automation & Infrastructure as Code

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and operations usingTerraform, ARM templates, or Bicep

• Develop scripts usingPowerShell, Bash, or Python

• Improve operational efficiency throughstandardization and self-service tooling

Security, Compliance & Governance

• Implementpatching, hardening, backup, and DR best practices

• Supportsecurity controls, audits, and compliance requirements

• Follow enterprisechange, risk, and release management processes

Collaboration & GCC Ownership

• Work closely withglobal cloud, network, security, and application teams

• Create andmaintainSOPs, runbooks, and infrastructure documentation

• Act as anAzure infrastructure SME within the GCC

Core Infrastructure Skills

• Strong experience inInfrastructure / Systems / Cloud Engineering roles

• Hands‑ onexpertisewith:

• Windows & Linux servers

• Virtualization (VMware /Hyper‑ V)

• Storage, Backup, and DR solutions

• Networking fundamentals (DNS, Load Balancers, Firewalls, TCP/IP)

Azure & Tooling

• Stronghands‑ onexperience withMicrosoft Azure , including:

• Azure VMs,VNets, NSGs, Load Balancers, Azure Storage

• Azure Monitor, Log Analytics

• Azure AD / Entra ID basics

• Experience withInfrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep)

• Familiarity withITSM tools , monitoring, and alerting platforms

Professional Skills

• Strong troubleshooting androot cause analysis skills

• Ability tooperateinglobal,follow‑the‑sundelivery models

• Clear communication and documentation skills

Good to Have

• Experience working in aGlobal Capability Center (GCC)

• Exposure toAzure Landing Zones , enterprise-scale Azure setups

• Knowledge ofDevOps / automation-first infrastructure practices

• Azure certifications (AZ‑ 104, AZ‑ 305, etc.)

• Experience supportinglarge-scale enterprise platforms
