As an Oracle consulting generalist at PwC, you will possess a broad range of consulting skills and experience across various Oracle applications. You will provide consulting services to clients, analysing their needs, implementing software solutions, and offering training and support for effective utilisation of Oracle applications. Your versatile knowledge will allow you to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency and achieving their strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

• Pipeline Development: Build and maintain scalable, robust ETL/ELT data pipelines using AWS Glue, Lambda, and Step Functions.

• Data Architecture & Modeling: Design efficient data models and structures for Data Warehouses (Amazon Redshift) and Data Lakes (Amazon S3).

• Real-time Processing: Implement streaming analytics using technologies like Amazon Kinesis.

• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Utilize AWS services such as EMR, Athena, and AppFlow to manage data infrastructure.

• Data Optimization & Quality: Ensure high performance, cost-effective solutions, and data integrity through monitoring and validation.

• Collaboration: Work with data scientists and analysts to support AI/ML workloads (e.g., using SageMaker or vector databases like OpenSearch).

• Required Technical Skills & Qualifications

• Cloud Proficiency: Hands-on experience with AWS cloud technologies (S3, Redshift, Glue, Kinesis).

• Languages: Strong knowledge of Python (or Scala/Java) and SQL.

• Data Engineering Fundamentals: Strong background in data modeling, database design (SQL and NoSQL), and data warehousing concepts.

• Big Data & ETL: Experience with Hadoop/Spark frameworks and handling large-scale datasets.

• DevOps/Security: Experience with CI/CD tools, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and AWS data security/governance.
