As a business application consulting generalist at PwC, you will provide consulting services for a wide range of business applications. You will leverage a broad understanding of various software solutions to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency through analysis, implementation, training, and support.
An Adobe Marketo Specialist is a marketing automation expert responsible for implementing, optimizing, and scaling Adobe Marketo Engage solutions to drive measurable business outcomes. The role combines deep platform expertise with consultative engagement to translate business objectives into effective marketing automation strategies
*Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and optimize end-to-end marketing automation programs, including campaigns, nurture journeys, and engagement workflows.
Partner with stakeholders to understand business goals, analyze requirements, and recommend scalable Marketo-based solutions.
Manage lead lifecycle processes including scoring, segmentation, routing, and database governance.
Ensure seamless integration between Marketo and CRM platforms, maintaining data accuracy and sync efficiency.
Monitor campaign performance, conduct A/B testing, and deliver insights on marketing ROI and attribution.
Maintain platform health, troubleshoot issues, and enforce best practices for governance, scalability, and compliance.
Consultative & Behavioral Expectations
Act as a trusted advisor to clients/stakeholders, translating marketing goals into technology-driven solutions.
Provide strategic guidance on marketing automation maturity, campaign optimization, and process improvements.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, IT) and influence decision-making through data-driven insights.
Balance hands-on execution with solution design and stakeholder advisory across multiple engagements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
· 4 - 8+ years of experience in Marketing Automation, with 3 - 5+ years of hands-on expertise in Adobe Marketo Engage.
Strong understanding of CRM integrations, data management, and marketing operations.
Technical proficiency in HTML/CSS and familiarity with APIs/integration frameworks.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in campaign performance tracking and ROI measurement
Excellent stakeholder communication and consulting skills to align technology with business outcomes
Certification in Adobe Marketo Engage (preferred)
