Those in enterprise risk management at PwC will focus on identifying and mitigating potential risks that could impact an organisation's operations and objectives. You will be responsible for developing business strategies to effectively manage and navigate risks in a rapidly changing business environment.
& Summary:
This role is for high-potential employees with unparalleled exposure and experience in strategic business operations and leadership. Over the course of this role, you will work closely with the Advisory Leader's Officegaininginsights into decision-making processes, strategic planning, and operational execution.
Responsibilities:
Principal Accountabilities:Contract reviewand negotiations
Identifyinglegal and commercial risks in client facing contracts, proposals, scope of work and tender documents.
Act as a business enabler and work closely with business teams,leadershipand other internal teams inidentifyingworkable solutions to issues and suggesting risk mitigations.
Assistbusiness teams and leadership with credible insights toassistthemtaking informed decisions.
Draftingand negotiatingvarious client facing agreements likeengagement letters, master services agreements, statements of work, framework agreements, subcontractor and vendor arrangements, confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements, data protection addenda, technology licensingagreements, alliance agreements etc.
Interface regularly with senior partners, engagement leaders, risk management, independence, procurement, finance,andalsothe global PwC network, aligning contract positions with firm policy whilefacilitatingpragmatic commercial outcomes and maintaining transaction pace.
Mandatory skill sets:
Candidate must have completed 5 years integrated law course from a reputed law college in India
Candidate must have in depth knowledge of commercial laws, specifically contract laws
Candidate must be up to date with current laws
Preferred skill sets:
Candidatemust have excellentdrafting,communicationand negotiationskills
Prior experience in a Big 4 environment, familiarity with forensic practices and technologies and knowledge about buy-side and sell-side due diligence will be an added advantage
Experience ofworking in law firms on corporate side will be an added advantage
Ability to translate legal risksinto clear, actionable business adviceareessential
