& Summary:

The Oracle OIC Developer designs, builds, and supports database and integration solutions on Oracle Cloud. The role focuses on Oracle Database Cloud Service (DBCS) for data structures, performance, and security, and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for integrations between Oracle SaaS (e.g., Fusion) and onpremise/thirdparty systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop integrations using OIC (App/REST/SOAP adapters, file, FTP, scheduling, mappings).

  • Build and maintain integrations with Oracle Fusion, onpremise apps, and external APIs.

  • Design and optimize schemas, PL/SQL packages, views, and jobs on Oracle DBCS.

  • Implement performance tuning, backup/recovery strategies, and database security controls.

  • Develop data synchronization, ETL, and integration errorhandling frameworks.

  • Support SIT/UAT, troubleshoot integration and database issues, and ensure SLAs.

  • Prepare technical designs, deployment documentation, and support handover.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Handson experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) integrations, orchestrations, connectivity agents, monitoring.

  • Strong Oracle database and PL/SQL skills; experience on DBCS (provisioning, configuration, tuning).

  • Solid understanding of REST/SOAP web services, JSON/XML, APIs, and security (OAuth, certificates, policies).

  • Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Cloud or other Oracle SaaS applications.

  • Knowledge of networking concepts (VPN, connectivity agents) and filebased integrations (SFTP, FBDI).

  • 3–7+ years in Oracle integration/database development; cloud experience required.
