The purpose of this position is to manage daily maintenance operations with a team of maintenance personnel to ensure machine and equipment availability, reliability, efficiency, and adherence to quality and safety standards for production

  • Repair and Maintenance Perform repairs and maintenance tasks to rectify issues identified during inspections or troubleshooting. MTBF, Plan vs Unplanned Ratio, Blue collar Associate Skill Level Index
  • Maintenance reporting and spares planning

    Provide regular reports on maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment status to stakeholders. Track key department KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, PMI completion and other relevant metrics. Keep track of spare parts inventory, plan and initiate procurement processes as needed.

  • Task allocation and monitoring

    Allocate maintenance tasks, repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance activities to team members based on skill levels, workload, and equipment needs. Plan regular inspections to identify potential issues, wear and tear, or signs of malfunction, and address them before they escalate.

  • Trouble shooting

    Provide quick response and support in diagnosing and trouble shooting maintenance problems, using the technical expertise and collaboration with the team to find effective solutions. Participate in TPM activities.

    MTBF, MTTR
  • Maintenance analysis and optimization.

    Document and analyse maintenance activities, repairs, inspections,maintenance schedules, equipment history, trends, to identify areas of improvement and implement necessary changes. Identify opportunities for Digital projects, smart automation, cost reduction, improvements etc.

    Kaizen, Lessons Learned, Employee Suggestions

Knowledge:

  • Advance knowledge and understanding of Machine elements and control systems.
  • Advance knowledge on electrical and mechanical safety.
  • Advance knowledge on lean principles, IATF standards

Functional Skills:

  • Advance knowledge in Diagnosis & Trouble shooting skills of machine elements
  • Advance knowledge in Root cause identification & correctives Actions, Machine & gauge capability

Qualifications

BE / BTech (Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation)

4 to 6 years in Manufacturing/ Automobile/Production/Service Industry.

Hands-on working and troubleshooting on SPMs, Injection Molding, Cleaning, Assembly, Testing, PLC Automation, Instrumentation & calibration, process, etc.

Additional Information

  • Advance knowledge and understanding of Machine elements and control systems (Fanuc /Siemens /Rexroth / OPCON or Codesys programming / Robotics).
  • Advance knowledge on electrical and mechanical safety.
  • Advance knowledge on lean principles, IATF standards
