Job Description

Bosch Chassis Systems India Ltd is a 100% Bosch owned company in India. The company design and develops world class Hydraulic Brake System Parts that include Boosters, Tandem master cylinders and Proportionating valves. The Control Division develops innovative components, systems and functions in the field of vehicle safety, vehicle dynamics and driver assistance like ABS and ESP.RBIC would soon be expanding portfolio in passive safety and other Driver assistance products.

We are seeking a motivated Quality Management Professional to support manufacturing quality . This role is ideal for candidates with 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, quality, or production who are looking to transition into Quality Management

Key Responsibilities

1. Implementation of necessary actions to meet the defined Quality KPI's

2. Problem Solving: Identify and report any quality issues, defects, or deviations from standards to the Cross Function team. Drive Problem solving culture for root cause analysis, defining &

implementation of corrective actions, with a focus on continuous improvement.

3. Rejection Analysis: Daily rejection analysis in Shopfloor. Follow-up for action closures to reduce the In-house rejection level. Tools: PSS/8D. Collaborate with the production and process team to identify opportunities for process improvement.

4. Customer Focus: Maintain a strong customer focused approach by addressing 0km complaints promptly and effectively, identifying root causes and implementing corrective action. Tool: 8D

5. Gauge Calibration: Ensure the adherence to defined Gauge calibration planning, data recording in SAP as per Bosch standard.

6. Machine Capability Assessment: Evaluate the capability of production machines to consistently manufacture components within specified tolerances and make recommendations for adjustments as needed (As per Lead plant guideline)

7. Operator Skill Matrix: Ensure adequate training to all QC Inspectors regarding their working product & processes through Sampling Inspection as per control plan frequency. Conduct their on-the-job training and development programs.

8. Change Management: Ensure adherence to shift level 4M changes with investigating and promptly addressing in case of any deviation found.

9. Safe Launch: Safe launch activity planning & Effectiveness monitoring for NPD Projects.

10. MSA: Ensure adherence to MSA Study planning & execution.

11. SAP Quality Key User: Create and maintain Quality related data in SAP for all New products.

12. Supplier defects coordination: Co ordination with Supplier Quality till 8D completion

13. 0-km Claim Containment: Responsible for Containment at Customer end & at Bosch

warehouse

14. Manpower: Ensure all Compliance related to MFQ Manpower Service Contract

Additional Requirement

  1. Support QMM team for validation related activities, PJM team for sample build related activities for NPD/RPP, TEF for maintenance.
  2. Support MFE team for sample build, fixture / gauge / tooling Quality release, Quality related
  3. Participate as CFT member for FMEA line walk. Drive MFQ CIP projects
  4. Contribute to Digitalization on shopfloor
  5. Flexible to work in shifts

Required Skills

  1. Pro-active thinking for identifying risks and implementing actions for reducing same.
  2. Basic knowledge of Quality Methods and Systems
  3. Hands-on exposure to tools like MS Excel, MS Project, SAP, Microsoft PowerPoint.
  4. Strong communication, coordination, and time management skills.
  5. Strong Problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
  6. Digital Tools knowledge will be added advantage.

Qualifications

  1. B.E – Mechanical/Automobile/Electronics
  2. 1+ years of experience in manufacturing/quality/production roles.
  3. Interest in pursuing a long-term career in Quality Management
