Job Description

Bosch Chassis Systems India Ltd is a 100% Bosch owned company in India. The company design and develops world class Hydraulic Brake System Parts that include Boosters, Tandem master cylinders and Proportionating valves. The Control Division develops innovative components, systems and functions in the field of vehicle safety, vehicle dynamics and driver assistance like ABS and ESP.RBIC would soon be expanding portfolio in passive safety and other Driver assistance products.

1) Project Planning & Execution:

Support end-to-end execution of manufacturing projects from initiation to closure. Develop

project plans, define milestones, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of project

deliverables while aligning with business objectives.

2) Sample Development & Coordination:

Coordinate development and tracking of customer samples, prototypes, and validation

builds. Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Sales teams to ensure timely

sample submission and approval.

3) MAE Procurement & Tracking:

Plan, coordinate, and track procurement of Manufacturing Assets & Equipment (MAE).

Monitor ordering status, supplier commitments, installation timelines, and readiness for

production requirements.

4) Cross-Functional Project Coordination:

Work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Sales, CTG, and other

support functions to drive project activities, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure seamless

execution of project tasks. Maintain project schedules, action trackers, meeting minutes,

risk registers, and project reports. Ensure accurate documentation and timely

communication of project status to stakeholders.

5) Resource Planning & Risk Management:

Support planning of project resources, identify project risks and dependencies, develop

mitigation plans, and proactively escalate issues impacting project timelines or deliverables.

6) Quality & Safety Compliance:

Ensure all project activities comply with manufacturing quality standards, safety

requirements, and organizational procedures throughout project execution and

implementation.

7) Digitalization & Continuous Improvement:

Leverage digital tools and automation opportunities to improve project visibility, reporting

efficiency, and execution effectiveness. Support continuous improvement initiatives within

manufacturing operations.

8) Project Management Tools & Systems:

Utilize tools such as SAP, MS Excel, MS Project, and PowerPoint for project planning,

tracking, reporting, budgeting, and performance monitoring.

9) IPN collaboration: Collaborate with IPN (International Production Network) for process

improvements, quality issues, complaints, standardization. Represent Chakan plant within

IPN & execute standardizations/improvements.

10) KAIZEN: Kaizen ideation to implementation for shopfloor/ process/ production

improvements like CT reduction, quality improvements etc.

11) Audits: Responsible for compliance to customer audits, external & internal audits, process

& system audits, CAU / AUD audits, TS, Quality & HSE audits or assessments, maintaining

relevant documentation for audit, OPL closure

12) CapEx : Capex management for new projects.

13) Capacity planning : Capacity Planning for the value stream
