Bosch Automotive Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. (RBAI) is a 100% subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH . Established in 2009, in Naganathapura - Bengaluru, RBAI is primarily focused in manufacturing electronic products for the automotive sector. RBAI has consistently added an average of one product every year resulting in a wide range of products comprising – Engine Control Units (ECU) for both 4W and 2W, Body Control Modules (BCM), ECUs for ABS, DC-DC Converters, iTraMS (Intelligent communication control unit) to name a few. Responsible for MAE/Line planning at Bosch International Production Network
Organize reviews and coordinate with cross functional teams (Lead plant, production plant and suppliers)
Single point of contact between the manufacturing plant and cross functional project team for line readiness
Monitor line specific KPIs and drive measures
Drive Continuous improvement projects to increase line efficiency
Support to reduce defect costs, increasing productivity, and implementing quality assurance measures
Implement lessons learnt & best practice across IPN
Drive line circle meetings with production plant, support for measures & exchange knowledge in IPN
Responsible to handle entire production line readiness & release to SOP according to project targets
Preparing, aligning, and coordinating the approval of production line layouts
Active participation in machine acceptance events and coordination of related departmental tasks
Optimizing production line layouts to support efficient and safe production
Facilitate & Coordinate for MAE specification, Supplier Coordination, Quote, MAE Ordering, DAP, MAE build, Pre-acceptance & Final acceptance for new projects
Managing production line expansion or capacity reduction based on production requirements
Planning technical line capacity and required equipment according to the production requirements
Support for ad-hoc request to plan line capacity based on volume increase
Participation in line trials, sample production and serial production support
Ensure project handover to production plant team with appropriate documentation
Active participation in PGL workshops
Supplier visit for Pre-acceptance coordination
Plant visit for final acceptance & release coordination
Strategical IPN line capacity according to business scenario
