
Palmer Lake Elementary School is seeking a 5th Grade teacher for the 2026-2027 school year with strengths in ELA and Social Studies We value educators who work well with colleagues and partner closely with families to support student success. Candidates must have, or be eligible to receive a Colorado teaching license with appropriate endorsement. Experience with CKLA literacy curriculum is appreciated. Knowledge of the PLC process, how to use data to drive instruction and Responsive Classroom principles are preferred.
Exact placement on the pay schedule will be determined by the Director of Human Resources upon contracting. As a guideline, we offer up to 18 years of previous contractual teaching experience for a placement of Step 19, per school board policy. This pay range is based on education and experience levels with a range of $44,550 - $75,279. The current teacher pay schedule can be found on our website. Lewis-Palmer School District 38 is located in El Paso County, Colorado, and serves approximately 6,500 students in the Palmer Lake, Monument, Woodmoor, and the northern Black Forest areas.
