The products of Transmission Control (TC) department in the division Powertrain Solutions (PS) not only increase the efficiency of combustion engines, hybrid cars, but offer safe and comfortable driving experience. Budapest holds full responsibility for all development activity in all domains (HW, SW, Mechanics) for all transmission control unit generation with a wide customer portfolio in the automotive world.
Your contribution to something big:
Development of customer specific products for the automotive industry for transmission and suspension control units
Design and implementation of sophisticated control strategies for our suspension control products
Software development by following the latest standards in the industry: Functional Safety, ASPICE and AUTOSAR
Software design with UML, software implementation in ANSI-C
Software testing and documentation
Cooperation within a diverse and international team
Key attributes:
Ability to work independently, systematically, and with strong analytical thinking skills
Ability to cooperate with an international team
Strong MATLAB/Simulink and C/C++ programming skills
Knowledge in control theory and control engineering, optimization algorithms and their application in control
Strong interest in embedded technologies
Proficiency in English
University degree in electrical engineering, computer science, informatics, or a related field
What gives you further advantages:
Software and model development experience in the automotive industry
Experience with BLDC motor control
Expertise in model predictive control and system identification
Knowledge of Functional Safety, AUTOSAR, Multicore RTOS
Experience with hardware circuit schematics and/or microcontroller peripherals (ADC, PWM, GPIO, etc.)
Knowledge of test methodologies and test tool
